Research suggests Brexit has had little impact on U.K. companies

Uncertainty is part of everyday life for entrepreneurs whose success depends on their ability to navigate uncharted waters, adapt to changing markets and identify opportunities to thrive. And uncertainty about remaining internationally competitive post-Brexit isn't showing any signs of dampening the U.K.'s entrepreneurial spirit. It remains to be seen whether venture capitalists continue investing heavily in U.K. startups once the nation gains independence from the European Union. Nevertheless, faith in the U.K. startup ecosystem currently remains high—as Zoë Henry reveals here—with researching showing record levels of startup investment in 2017 and financial technology (fintech) companies faring particularly well.
