YouTube to school U.K. kids on how to combat fake news, echo chambers, and hate speech

Google is launching a series of workshops, run by YouTube in collaboration with local organizations, to help 13-18 year olds recognize and deal with fake news, echo chambers and offensive speech. After testing the workshops for a few weeks in Liverpool, YouTube will be taking its Internet Citizens progam to various youth clubs across the U.K. and is looking to extend the initiative by bringing more organizations on board.
